Sarah works with a wide range of organizations throughout the region reviewing systemic practice, identifying opportunities for change and underpinning sound organizational structure. She coaches individuals and teams through change, strengthening and developing interpersonal and team skills through effective communication and systemic awareness. As an experienced, innovative trainer and an active practitioner in executive coaching, she draws on her experience of working in the public, private and voluntary sectors. She successfully blends her awareness of the demands of commerce with her responsiveness to people's needs and beliefs.
Sarah began her career in industry, working with BOC and Brown & Root, before joining the Royal Navy. During her 11 year naval career, she lead communications, data handling and intelligence teams, before specialising in personnel selection where she was responsible for assessment and selection for Royal Navy and Royal Marine recruits.
Following a career break in order to concentrate on family life, Sarah returned to work to develop training programmes in the commercial and voluntary sectors and for public service organizations such as the NHS and Devon County Council and Tamar Science Park, Bluestone Design and Ashfords Solicitors. She has developed, marketed and delivered a range of programmes that focus on inter personal skills, emotional intelligence and the management of relationships.
Sarah has a Batchelor of Science degree in Psychology and is currently completing a Masters in Systemic Practice. She is a member of the European Mentoring and Coaching Council and co-leads the regional network for the organization.
In her spare time she enjoys walking on Dartmoor, ski-ing, swimming and gemology.
